Writing Characterization

Writing believable characters can be tricky. First you must know your character. Make a list of 50 questions, and answer them. Where is your character from? What does he like? What is his favorite sport? etc. Then go through catalogs and find a picture of someone who reminds you of your character. Cut the picture out and tape it near your computer. Now that you know your character, you will be able to write him in a believable way.> Get many more free writing tips in The Writer's Choice Newsletter at http://www.creativewritinginstitute.com.
